ABOUT US

The Youth Hunters gain first-hand Knowledge
of upland bird hunting with dogs and respect
for wildlife and habitat conservation.
We teach each student firearm safety, shotgun
patterning, clay pigeons shooting, and wild
game cleaning. A Certified Range Safety Officer
is present at each event day to teach safe gun
control, and youth hunters are paired with a
mentor with a Federal Firearms license during
the hunt to ensure the
safety of
everyone.
We run each youth through a hunt with planted
Pheasants that the program raises in our flight
pens. The birds are placed in Milk crates with
strings attached to ensure the upmost control
and safety of all youth. Dog Handlers with
trained hunting dogs help in completing the
experience of upland bird hunting. The
experience of watching trained dogs work to
find and flush birds is captivating to the all
ages.
